How long have you been djing and what inspired you to start?
I have been a dj off and on for about 8 yrs.
Who were your music influences growing up?
Well had a wide variety My Parents were young adults when i was growing up Father liked Rock and my Mom was more into Motown and Top Hits.
What do you think makes a good DJ?
I would say Personality and enjoyment of a variety of music and ability to laugh at your mistakes and continue to thrive and a love for the music as well as the artists.
How would you describe your style?
Wide Variety,Easy going,Old Skool,Great personality <so i been told> and Fun..
Who are your favorite artists?
Eric Clapton,JayZ,Monifah,HeatWave,Alicia Keys. Diana Ross,Tina Turner etc etc. So many favorites.
What’s your favorite guilty pleasure song?
Monifah Touch It
What was the oddest song request you have ever received?
In Game I would have to say a gal sent me a request for Eamons Dun “Want You Back” and dedicated it to her umm EX. Well he messaged me and requested “Tramp” By Salt N Peppa (Oh the drama lol)
Out of all the songs you have, which one “never fails”?
Ice Cubes “You can do it”
Do you feel being a female DJ puts you at a disadvantage? Do you think its harder for female DJs?
Noway I think if you have a love for music and you play your “Moods Music”and above all have fun then the listeners will pick up on that vibe and all have fun.
What advice would you give to up and coming DJs?
Have FUN and enjoy yourself and the listeners will enjoy right along with you.
When all the partying is over how do you like to just chill?
Hot Bubblebath some candles,glass of wine and some good music.
What can we expect from you in 2010?
Once i get this PC running right? lol Fun and some Great Old Skool,Motown,take ya back to the days when life was easier for some of us..
