How long have you been djing and what inspired you to start?
I been a DJ since 2003 when I joined a Net Radio Station. I started because of my love for music and my Clubbin days LOL
Who were your music influences growing up?
My Moms her little house parties. Her love for music.
What do you think makes a good DJ?
A DJ has to remember its all about the music and not about them. Play what you know the crowd likes. Try to keep the partyin poppin
and the music flowing.
Who are your favorite artists?
Daddy Yankee, Akon, Pitbull and Omega…so many to name
What’s your favorite guilty pleasure song?
LOL Jungle Fever by Chakachas
What was the oddest song request you have ever received?
Mozart. Now that’s classic right there.
Out of all the songs you have, which one “never fails”?
Any thing Pitbull. He gets the crowd moving.
Do you feel being a female DJ puts you at a disadvantage? Do you think its harder for female DJs?
No I think the music talks for us. The crowd doesnt care if you are M/F. All they care about that u can throw it down.
What advice would you give to up and coming DJs?
Never be late a good DJ is never late. Also, even if there’s one person you perform like there’s more then 20. You never know who can pop in.
When all the partying is over how do you like to just chill?
Me and my husband Carmelo go home and cuddle. Or I’ll watch a movie or go shopping.
What can we expect from you in 2010?
Bigger and better stuff more fans that like the music I stream.
